Conference Committee - Future Education Conference 2027

The 10^th International Conference on Future of Education (Future Edu) 2027 is a globally recognized platform that brings together educators, researchers, policymakers, practitioners, innovators, and industry leaders committed to advancing education systems for a rapidly changing world. The conference creates space for meaningful dialogue on educational innovation, purposeful technology integration, inclusive learning, policy development, and future-ready teaching and learning practices.

The Future Education Conference Committee forms the academic and strategic foundation of Future Edu 2027. The committee supports the quality, relevance, and international representation of the conference while guiding its academic direction and participant experience.

DR. BRIAN D. BEITZEL

Brian Beitzel is associate dean and professor of educational psychology in the School of Education, Human Ecology, and Sports Studies at SUNY Oneonta. After completing his Ph.D. at UW-Madison, he received the Paul R. Pintrich Dissertation Award from the American Psychological Association’s Division 15 (Educational Psychology). In 2009 he received the SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Teaching.

He has chaired the Department of Educational Psychology, Counseling and Special Education, teaching courses in child development, learning and motivation, assessment, and college study skills.

His research, funded in part by the Spencer Foundation, has focused on the risks and benefits of incorporating diagrams into mathematics instruction. He serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Teaching and Learning and provides support to other journal offices as an editorial board member and consulting editor.

During the 2018-2019 academic year, he was a Fellow in the American Council on Education (ACE) Fellows Program and currently serves on the Council of Fellows Board. He leads site visit teams for AAQEP (a disciplinary accrediting body) and has been appointed to a 4-year term on its Accreditation Commission.

Isanka P. Gamage is a Global South Knowledge Diplomat, global collaborator, and entrepreneur, and the Co-Founder and Managing Director of The International Institute of Knowledge Management (TIIKM).

Through TIIKM, he has been at the forefront of elevating Global South voices onto global academic and policy platforms, fostering meaningful collaboration between the Global South and the Global North. His leadership spans education, knowledge management, research and development, and international conference management.

Isanka has convened over 375 international conferences, founded three international journals, and built global knowledge platforms supporting sustainable development and interdisciplinary research. His work has connected Nobel Laureates, ministries, diplomats, industry leaders, and an academic network of over 450 universities and 2,000 scholars worldwide.

He serves on the Board of Studies of the Institute of Management Sri Lanka, is a certified NLP practitioner, and delivers mindfulness-based leadership and wellbeing programs internationally.
Currently pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration at the University of Kelaniya, his mission is clear:
to transform conferences into platforms for lifelong collaboration and real global impact—especially for the Global South.

Dr. Denise Furlong

Director of Advanced Studies for Reading Specialists & ESL Georgian Court University, USA

Dr. Denise A. Furlong, Ed.D., Ed.M., is an Assistant Professor and the Director of Advanced Programs for Reading Specialists and ESL at Georgian Court University in Lakewood, New Jersey, where she leads graduate studies focused on literacy and multilingual learner education. With more than twenty-five years of experience in the New Jersey public school system; as a classroom teacher, ESL/ bilingual instructor, interventionist, and instructional coach, Dr. Furlong brings deep practical insight into effective, inclusive literacy practices.

Her academic journey includes an Ed.D. in Literacy Education and an Ed.M. in Language Education from Rutgers University, both earned magna cum laude, as well as a B.S. in Elementary Education and Spanish from The College of New Jersey (summa cum laude).

Dr. Furlong’s research and creative interests center on supporting multilingual learners (MLs), literacy development for diverse student populations, and holistic professional learning. She is the author of Voices of Newcomers: Experiences of Multilingual Learners and co-author of Learners First: Purpose and Practicality in Your Early Years of Teaching, and has presented widely at national and international education conferences.

Her work reflects a commitment to equity, instructional excellence, and empowering educators to meet the needs of all learners.

Prof. Dr. Ida Fatimawati bt Adi Badiozaman

Deputy Pro-Vice Chancellor Research, Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak, Malaysia

Professor Dr Ida Fatimawati Adi Badiozaman is Deputy Pro Vice-Chancellor (Research) at Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak. Her scholarly work sits at the intersection of education, technology, and society, with particular emphasis on technology-enhanced learning design, teacher professional identity, inclusive digital pedagogies, and community-engaged research. She has published extensively in high-impact international journals and books, and currently co-edits volumes on pedagogical innovation and creative practice research.

Beyond academia, Professor Ida plays a strategic leadership role in shaping research ecosystems aligned with national and regional priorities, including MyRA, Sarawak’s Post-COVID-19 Development Strategy (PCDS 2030), and UN SDGs. She actively leads multi-stakeholder initiatives involving government, industry, and international partners, and is a strong advocate for gender equity, ethical leadership, and socially responsible research. Her work reflects a commitment to ensuring that education and technology work together to empower communities and build a more inclusive future.

Dr. Mario Landman

The Independent Institute of Education

South Africa

Dr. Mario Landman is a senior academic and education technology leader, currently serving as Executive: Educational Technology and Innovation at ADvTECH’s Academic Centre of Excellence. He leads the strategic integration of digital learning, AI, and assessment technologies across a large multi-institutional higher education environment. With a PhD in Language Practice and a background in instructional design, his work focuses on enhancing teaching and learning through innovation, data-informed decision-making, and scalable EdTech ecosystems. Dr. Landman is a recognized voice in AI in education, contributing to institutional strategy, academic development, and sector thought leadership.
