Brian Beitzel is associate dean and professor of educational psychology in the School of Education, Human Ecology, and Sports Studies at SUNY Oneonta. After completing his Ph.D. at UW-Madison, he received the Paul R. Pintrich Dissertation Award from the American Psychological Association’s Division 15 (Educational Psychology). In 2009 he received the SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Teaching.Â
He has chaired the Department of Educational Psychology, Counseling and Special Education, teaching courses in child development, learning and motivation, assessment, and college study skills.Â
His research, funded in part by the Spencer Foundation, has focused on the risks and benefits of incorporating diagrams into mathematics instruction. He serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Teaching and Learning and provides support to other journal offices as an editorial board member and consulting editor.Â
During the 2018-2019 academic year, he was a Fellow in the American Council on Education (ACE) Fellows Program and currently serves on the Council of Fellows Board. He leads site visit teams for AAQEP (a disciplinary accrediting body) and has been appointed to a 4-year term on its Accreditation Commission.

Dr. Udomluk Koolsriroj

Dr. Udomluk Koolsriroj is the Dean of the Faculty of Education at Kasetsart University, Thailand, where she provides strategic leadership in academic development, internationalization, and research advancement. With extensive experience in teacher education, she previously served as Associate Dean for International Affairs, strengthening global partnerships and fostering cross-border academic collaboration.Â
Dr. Koolsriroj’s expertise centers on teacher professional development, scaffolding techniques to enhance student learning, and advancing diversity and equity in education. Her work emphasizes inclusive pedagogical frameworks, evidence-based instructional strategies, and sustainable models for teacher capacity building. She has played an active role in organizing and leading international academic initiatives, including major symposia and global education conferences, contributing to knowledge exchange across institutions and regions.Â
Recognized for her leadership in international collaborative research, Dr. Koolsriroj has contributed to regional projects supported by the Association of Southeast Asian Teacher Education (AsTEN). Her scholarship and administrative leadership reflect a strong commitment to innovation, equity, and global engagement in teacher education.Â

Dr. Denise Furlong
Dr. Denise A. Furlong, Ed.D., Ed.M., is an Assistant Professor and the Director of Advanced Programs for Reading Specialists and ESL at Georgian Court University in Lakewood, New Jersey, where she leads graduate studies focused on literacy and multilingual learner education. With more than twenty-five years of experience in the New Jersey public school system; as a classroom teacher, ESL/ bilingual instructor, interventionist, and instructional coach, Dr. Furlong brings deep practical insight into effective, inclusive literacy practices. Â
Her academic journey includes an Ed.D. in Literacy Education and an Ed.M. in Language Education from Rutgers University, both earned magna cum laude, as well as a B.S. in Elementary Education and Spanish from The College of New Jersey (summa cum laude). Â
Dr. Furlong’s research and creative interests center on supporting multilingual learners (MLs), literacy development for diverse student populations, and holistic professional learning. She is the author of Voices of Newcomers: Experiences of Multilingual Learners and co-author of Learners First: Purpose and Practicality in Your Early Years of Teaching, and has presented widely at national and international education conferences. Â
Her work reflects a commitment to equity, instructional excellence, and empowering educators to meet the needs of all learners.Â
Prof. Dr. Ida Fatimawati bt Adi Badiozaman
Deputy Pro-Vice Chancellor Research, Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak, Malaysia
Professor Dr Ida Fatimawati Adi Badiozaman is Deputy Pro Vice-Chancellor (Research) at Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak. Her scholarly work sits at the intersection of education, technology, and society, with particular emphasis on technology-enhanced learning design, teacher professional identity, inclusive digital pedagogies, and community-engaged research. She has published extensively in high-impact international journals and books, and currently co-edits volumes on pedagogical innovation and creative practice research.
Beyond academia, Professor Ida plays a strategic leadership role in shaping research ecosystems aligned with national and regional priorities, including MyRA, Sarawak’s Post-COVID-19 Development Strategy (PCDS 2030), and UN SDGs. She actively leads multi-stakeholder initiatives involving government, industry, and international partners, and is a strong advocate for gender equity, ethical leadership, and socially responsible research. Her work reflects a commitment to ensuring that education and technology work together to empower communities and build a more inclusive future.
