Conference Committee - Future Education Conference 2027

The 10^th International Conference on Future of Education (Future Edu) 2027 is a globally recognized platform that brings together educators, researchers, policymakers, practitioners, innovators, and industry leaders committed to advancing education systems for a rapidly changing world. The conference creates space for meaningful dialogue on educational innovation, purposeful technology integration, inclusive learning, policy development, and future-ready teaching and learning practices.

The Future Education Conference Committee forms the academic and strategic foundation of Future Edu 2027. The committee supports the quality, relevance, and international representation of the conference while guiding its academic direction and participant experience.

Brian Beitzel is associate dean and professor of educational psychology in the School of Education, Human Ecology, and Sports Studies at SUNY Oneonta. After completing his Ph.D. at UW-Madison, he received the Paul R. Pintrich Dissertation Award from the American Psychological Association’s Division 15 (Educational Psychology). In 2009 he received the SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Teaching.

He has chaired the Department of Educational Psychology, Counseling and Special Education, teaching courses in child development, learning and motivation, assessment, and college study skills.

His research, funded in part by the Spencer Foundation, has focused on the risks and benefits of incorporating diagrams into mathematics instruction. He serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Teaching and Learning and provides support to other journal offices as an editorial board member and consulting editor.

During the 2018-2019 academic year, he was a Fellow in the American Council on Education (ACE) Fellows Program and currently serves on the Council of Fellows Board. He leads site visit teams for AAQEP (a disciplinary accrediting body) and has been appointed to a 4-year term on its Accreditation Commission.

Isanka P. Gamage is a Global South Knowledge Diplomat, global collaborator, and entrepreneur, and the Co-Founder and Managing Director of The International Institute of Knowledge Management (TIIKM).

Through TIIKM, he has been at the forefront of elevating Global South voices onto global academic and policy platforms, fostering meaningful collaboration between the Global South and the Global North. His leadership spans education, knowledge management, research and development, and international conference management.

Isanka has convened over 375 international conferences, founded three international journals, and built global knowledge platforms supporting sustainable development and interdisciplinary research. His work has connected Nobel Laureates, ministries, diplomats, industry leaders, and an academic network of over 450 universities and 2,000 scholars worldwide.

He serves on the Board of Studies of the Institute of Management Sri Lanka, is a certified NLP practitioner, and delivers mindfulness-based leadership and wellbeing programs internationally.
Currently pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration at the University of Kelaniya, his mission is clear:
to transform conferences into platforms for lifelong collaboration and real global impact—especially for the Global South.

Professor Dr. Ida Fatimawati Adi Badiozaman’s research examines how higher education prepares educators and institutions for an AI-mediated future. Her work on phronetic leadership and educator identity argues that practical wisdom, not technical compliance alone, should guide universities’ responses as artificial intelligence reshapes teaching, research culture, and academic decision-making. This scholarship draws on a broader commitment to virtue ethics in higher education and has informed institutional AI governance frameworks in Southeast Asia.

She brings this agenda into practice as Head of Industrial Capability at PETROS (Petroleum Sarawak Berhad), a role she assumes in October 2026 after serving as Deputy Pro Vice-Chancellor Research (DPVCR) at Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak (SUTS). At SUTS, she led the Research Office, overseeing research governance, higher-degree-by-research (HDR) supervision, and external partnerships, thereby positioning the university within Sarawak’s research and policy ecosystem. Her move into industry extends this work on future-ready capability building, connecting educator preparation and workforce development for Sarawak’s emerging economic sectors.

She holds a PhD from Massey University and an MA from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand and is co-editor of Routledge volumes on technology-enhanced learning design and online TESOL education.

Dr. Mario Landman

Dr. Mario Landman is Executive for Educational Technology and Innovation at the Independent Institute of Education’s Academic Centre of Excellence, within the ADvTECH Group. His work focuses on digital learning, instructional design and the responsible integration of artificial intelligence in education. His academic interests include digital and multimodal literacy, technology-enhanced teaching and learning, and AI stewardship. He brings experience in academic leadership, quality assurance and postgraduate supervision, with an emphasis on accessible, pedagogically grounded educational innovation.
